DALLAS (Sept. 19, 2023) – CC Young Senior Living, a leading nonprofit Continuing Care Retirement Community, is hosting a resident and adult child panel discussion to address common misconceptions and provide valuable insights into selecting the right assisted living community. This public free event will be held on Thursday, Sept. 28, from 5:30–7 p.m. or on Saturday, Sept. 30, from 10–11:30 a.m. in The Vista, 4849 West Lawther Drive, Dallas, Texas 75214.
“Choosing the right assisted living community is a significant decision, and many older adults and their families are faced with many questions, various myths, and uncertainties that can make the process seem daunting,” said Russell Crews, president and CEO of CC Young. “We’ve found that hearing firsthand, personal stories from people who have made the decision themselves is what helps the most, and that’s what this event offers.”
Event Highlights:
Panel Discussion: CC Young team members will lead a panel discussion dedicated to debunking common myths and misconceptions surrounding assisted living communities. Each session will also feature engaging conversations with CC Young residents and their families. The panelists will discuss their personal journeys in finding an assisted living community and what daily life is like at CC Young.
Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions and gain a clearer understanding of the benefits and services offered at CC Young and what to expect when choosing a community.
Refreshments and Networking: Light refreshments will be provided, allowing attendees to engage in discussions with fellow guests, staff, and panelists, and connect with others who may also be going through a similar decision-making process.
Crews added, “CC Young Senior Living understands the importance of transparency and education in the process of choosing the right senior living community. This event is part of our ongoing commitment to support older adults and their families in making informed decisions about their future.”
