We are here, with a giving spirit that makes a difference, with a calling to contribute to our residents’ life experiences, to our neighbors and to the greater community.
One of the most tangible ways in which we apply our giving spirit is through our Benevolence Fund. The Fund serves as a safety net for residents today who outlive their savings and financial resources.
The Fund provides basic needs such as housing, medicine, and skilled nursing care in a dignified and loving manner. In addition to helping our residents on campus, our Benevolence Fund also helps seniors throughout the Dallas Metroplex that are food insecure. Donations to our CC Young Cares Meal Program provides qualifying seniors with heart healthy frozen meals.
As part of our mission, we are guided by faith to serve with excellence, kindness, respect, integrity and tolerance. This is why operating benevolently is such as key part of who we are. Learn more by viewing the video below.

In 1917, an elderly widow approached Reverend Christopher Conley Young and asked his help in finding a place to live. She had nowhere to go and no one to turn to.
Thus began the Reverend’s mission to provide, in his own words, “a home for aged women and mothers.” Five years later, the CC Young Memorial Home became a reality and our mission of Benevolence began.
There are many ways in which we seek to continue our CC Young Benevolence Fund. Perhaps the most interesting is through fundraising events. These events may take many forms — from fun to formal and everything in between. View our upcoming events by clicking the link.
The purpose of the Body, Mind, Spirit Connection is to support the Benevolence Fund at CC Young. Your gift will help those seniors who desperately need our assistance, and help us reach out through education on health, financial and social issues.
