CC Young Senior Living Hosts Event to Answer Important Questions and Clarify the Senior Living Selection Process

DALLAS (Sept. 27, 2023) – With so many options available today for seniors living in the Dallas-area, knowing which one is right for you or a loved one’s future one can be challenging and confusing.
CC Young Senior Living, a leading non-profit Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC), is making this decision-making clearer with an event that aims to answer some of the many questions prospective residents have about choosing and living in a retirement community. The event will be held on Tuesday, October 10 from 3:30-5 p.m. in The Point Auditorium on the CC Young campus at 4847 West Lawther Drive in Dallas.
“The process of planning for retirement and finding the right senior living community isn’t always easy. It’s a journey filled with a variety of important questions about living options, contract types, healthcare, activities, and much more,” said Russell Crews, president and CEO of CC Young. “This interactive session is designed to present the various options available and provide information needed to answer some of those questions and help people make an informed plan for their future.”
Event Highlights:
Panel Discussion: CC Young President and CEO Russell Crews, Greystone Communities and Senior Vice President Mindy Cheek will lead a discussion that includes:
- Facts about aging… things you may not know
- The importance of making a plan
- Review of senior living options, different contract types and the benefits of each
- Non-profit versus for profit differences
- Key questions to ask senior living communities and yourself while doing research and making a decision
Refreshments and Conversations: Light refreshments will be served, and guests will have an opportunity to engage in group and one-on-one discussions with CC Young staff members.
