Reverend Dr. Veronica (Roni) Davis received both her undergraduate and master’s degrees from SMU. She completed her B.A. in Political Science and her B.B.A in Business Management in 2010 and received her M.Div. from Perkins School of Theology in 2015. In the summer of 2019, she finished her Ph.D. in Educational Leadership and Policy Development from the University of Texas Arlington.

Veronica has been an ordained minister with the Assemblies of God, USA since 2017 and an Endorsed Chaplain since 2020.

She comes to us after having served for 2 years as SMU’s Associate Chaplain before completing her chaplaincy residency year at Parkland Hospital in August of 2022. In her free time, she enjoys walking her dog, having coffee with friends, watching numerous crime documentaries, and painting by numbers. Veronica is a fan of meaningful conversations, so please, feel free to stop by anytime.
