The Point fosters life enrichment, wellness, learning, and community for adults 55+
DALLAS (Feb. 5, 2026) – Adults 55 and better are invited to discover the fun that is available at The Point on the CC Young campus during the annual Open House on Saturday, Feb. 28, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event will showcase the amenities and nearly 300 monthly events and programs available through a Point membership. Attendees will learn how The Point creates meaningful opportunities for older adults to stay active, engaged, and connected—physically, intellectually, socially, and spiritually. Information booths, healthy food tastings, door prizes, and opportunities to meet instructors, wellness professionals, and current Point members will be available. The event is free and open to the public. The 20-acre campus is located at 4847 West Lawther Drive, across from White Rock Lake.
The 20,000-square foot non-residential building serves as the hub of the CC Young community. It features an art gallery, café, “game zone,” meditation chapel, fitness center classrooms, auditorium, theater, rental spaces, a library, and more.
Monthly, The Point programming offers a variety of specialty groups, classes, and experiences including fitness, wellness, arts, music, technology, movies, games, volunteering opportunities, and lifelong learning opportunities through a partnership with the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) with the University of North Texas.
“The Point was designed to help senior adults remain engaged, active, and create community as they age,” said Brian Parman, director of The Point & Pavilion at CC Young Senior Living. “It’s a place where movement, learning, creativity, and connection come together to support confidence, purpose, and well-being. Our Open House offers the community an opportunity to experience that sense of belonging firsthand.”
