DALLAS (October 14, 2025) – CC Young Senior Living presented at the ICAA Conference and Expo 2025, one of the industry’s premier events shaping the future of wellness and active aging. The annual conference, in Anaheim, California, has been a cornerstone of transformation in the active-aging sector, bringing together leaders, innovators, and professionals dedicated to redefining what it means to age well.
Director of The Point & Pavilion, Brian Parman, and Assistant Director, Angela Castillo, led an educational session titled Beyond Occupancy: How Non-Resident Memberships Can Transform Your Community. Their presentation explored how senior living organizations can move beyond traditional occupancy-based growth models to create more profound community impact, generate sustainable revenue, and build meaningful engagement with older adults long before they become residents.
“Too often, our industry focuses solely on selling the idea of community rather than building it,” said Parman. “Through non-resident Point memberships, we have been successful in building meaningful relationships earlier, welcoming people into our community long before they decide to call CC Young home.”
The session provided a practical framework for creating or expanding non-resident membership programs, focusing on strategy, marketing, community connection, and sustainable growth.
CC Young’s Life Enrichment Point program has grown to include more than 200 non-resident members who actively participate in wellness programs, lifelong learning opportunities, signature events, and special interest groups. Membership offers access to a range of amenities on the organization’s 20-acre Dallas campus, including a fitness center, chapel, café and game zone, art gallery, auditorium, classrooms, greenhouse, TV studio, movie theatre, and Central Park and Pavilion, creating a vibrant hub for both residents and the broader Dallas community.
Dr. Hayley Moseley, director, Campus Education, will present on Wednesday, October 15. Her session, Every Training Moment Counts, will cover how adults learn and use appropriate strategies to transform company culture, increase in-service attendance, and turn orientation from a chore into an engaging introduction to the community.
The 2025 ICAA Conference & Expo is expected to draw hundreds of professionals from across the active-aging field. During the three-day event, attendees explore strategies for integrating wellness and healthcare, advancing technology, reimagining programming, and building meaningful connections that shape the future of aging.
