Angela Castillo | Assistant Director, The Point & Pavilion

Angela Castillo’s career at CC Young, Senior Living in Dallas, TX, began in December 2012. She showcases her expertise as the Assistant Director of The Point with her proven history of managing events and programs at The Point. She has been instrumental in coordinating logistics, room setups, audio-visual arrangements, and food and beverage services. Angela is also responsible for creating and distributing promotional materials, maintaining contact with outside groups and organizations, and overseeing various administrative tasks as well as heading up The Point Membership program.

Angela is a highly skilled and detail-oriented customer service professional with a genuine passion for organization, event planning, and travel. With a proven track record of excellence in customer service, she excels at problem-solving, demonstrating strong communication, negotiation, leadership, and organizational skills. Angela’s ability to stay calm under pressure and creatively resolve issues has made her an asset in challenging environments.

Prior to coming to CC Young, Angela served as an Assistant Event Administrator at MDE Latino, LP in Austin, TX. In this role, she organized leadership and communication workshops and retreats, handled contract negotiations with vendors, supervised events and retreats, and maintained the company’s website with up-to-date event information.

Angela’s professional journey also includes experience with Johnson Controls, Inc., where she served as a Shift Supervisor for AT&T Corporate real estate. Her responsibilities included troubleshooting calls, managing access system conversions, training new agents, and handling access card production in a high-volume call center.

Angela is a proud alumna of the University of Texas at Arlington, where she earned her B.A. in Communications with a concentration in Public Relations Methods, Case Studies, Campaigns, and Event Management.

In addition to her professional achievements, Angela Castillo is a recognized leader and was a fellow at the LeadingAge Texas Leadership Institute in 2019. She received the Employee of The Quarter Spirit Award in the 1st Quarter of 2015.
