This February, we’re thrilled to launch a new Cabaret Series, a monthly celebration of art, music, and the unwavering power of change. This Tuesday night series, a long-held dream, comes to life in our beautiful Point Auditorium, offering free and accessible entertainment for music lovers of all ages, especially those 55 and better.
Prepare to be captivated by two Dallas legends: Denise Lee, an artist and human rights advocate whose powerful voice has stirred hearts and inspired action for years. Denise’s dedication to using music for love, inspiration, and community impact truly embodies our “Heart of Gold” theme. Remember the 2016 shootings and riots in Dallas in 2016? It was Denise who brought over 200 people together, sparking meaningful conversations about race, respect, and healing through her initiative, Visions for Change. This non-profit continues to bridge divides and foster a more equitable community, one civil conversation at a time.
Gary Floyd, a soulful singer-songwriter with a vibrant spirit, will warm the stage with his melodic magic. Since childhood, Gary has poured his heart into music, weaving intricate rhythms and powerful lyrics that connect with audiences on a profound level. His music is a catalyst for positive change, raising the collective vibration with every note. From gospel roots to stage appearances, Gary’s eclectic talent and open heart shine through his every performance.
