She also continues to lead evening classes and occasionally preach at Cox Chapel.
Before entering vocational ministry, Allison spent 25 years in international development, working to improve the lives of people in underserved communities around the world. She led programs and projects for the World Health Organization (WHO), the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), and USAID partner organizations, collaborating with governments across Africa and Latin America to expand access to quality healthcare and social services.
In addition to her ministry work, Allison is a certified personal trainer and executive coach, holding certifications through ACE and CTI. She and her husband enjoy cooking, hosting family and friends, and spending summers in Italy biking and hiking in the Dolomites.
A Dallas native, Allison attended The Hockaday Preparatory School and graduated with honors from the University of Texas at Austin’s Plan II Honors Program. She also holds a master’s degree in international business through the European Union’s Socrates Program and a Master of Divinity from the Perkins School of Theology at Southern Methodist University. Allison feels deeply honored to serve the CC Young community and to share God’s love through her ministry.
