Jennifer was promoted to Senior Director, Community Outreach in 2019. Her responsibilities include enrichment for residents, CCY team members, and individuals in the local community, plus outreach and development of relationships outside the CCY campus. She is responsible for The Point Team, the Wellness Program, the Life Enrichment Team for licensed services, and the Volunteer Experience. Jennifer maintains responsibility for Communications and Public Relations, promoting events both on campus and off. She started in the non-profit sector with the World Craniofacial Foundation in Dallas because of her passion for helping children with facial deformities and cognitive challenges. She was then led to CC Young where she found another calling to serve. Jennifer joined CC Young 2009, left in 2010, and then returned in 2012 after completing work overseas. Jennifer is a graduate of Baylor University with a BA in communications. She also took post graduate courses in management at the University of Michigan and pursued a paralegal degree at Oakland University in Michigan. She served as Chairman of the Host Committee for the 2016 LeadingAge Texas State Convention in Dallas, is a graduate of LeadingAge Texas’ Leadership Institute, and currently serves on the LeadingAge Texas Educational Institute on Aging (EIA) Board of Directors.
