email: [email protected]
Jennifer joined CC Young in 2009 and has held several positions during her tenure – most recently as Senior Director of Community Outreach. She was promoted to Vice President in 2021 with a primary focus on engagement of residents, families, staff and the outside community – while keeping top of mind the hospitality component of the CC Young experience. She is responsible for The Point, Life Enrichment, Volunteers, and Reception and also retains responsibility for Communications and Public Relations, promoting events both on campus and off. Jennifer brings a broad background of corporate experience including 18 years in main frame computer sales and leasing, 10 years in luxury real estate, and even 2-year stints in travel & hospitality with a Fortune 50 company and as a personal caregiver for a family member. She was then led to CC Young where she found another calling to serve.
Jennifer is a graduate of Baylor University with a BA in communications. She also completed post graduate courses in management at the University of Michigan and pursued a paralegal degree at Oakland University in Michigan. She served as Chairman of the Host Committee for the 2016 LeadingAge Texas State Convention in Dallas, is a graduate of LeadingAge Texas’ Leadership Institute, and currently serves on the LeadingAge Texas Educational Institute on Aging (EIA) Board of Directors.
