“Digging Deep” with Author and Gardening Expert Felder Rushing
for Garden Education Day Event Friday, April 5, 2024 in The Point.
Garden Education Day will teach attendees how to create vibrant gardens from scratch or revitalize existing ones for the 2024 season.
Championed by Southern Living Magazine as one of the “25 people most likely to change the South,” Rushing is an 11th generation Southern gardener from Mississippi who travels worldwide in his quest for practical and inspirational home-gardening ideas to share. Felder has written or contributed substantially to 33 gardening books, including national award winners such as Passalong Plants, Slow Gardening, Better Homes and Garden’s children’s gardening book, and Maverick Gardeners. The original online Q&A person for HGTV, his garden exploits and philosophy have been featured three times in the New York Times.
