Q. Is there a program specifically for children to volunteer?
A. The Summer Teen Program is a good way for teens to get involved at C. C. Young. We ask for a minimum of 25 hours to be completed during the summer. The program is very flexible to accommodate for vacations, camps, and summer jobs. These hours fulfill community service hours required for schools, organizations, and/or academic credit.
Q. How will I make a difference if I volunteer?
A. We recognize each volunteer is unique—there is no one else like you. Your talents and skills, friendship and love are an extension of you. As you share these gifts with residents you will improve their quality of life. The Volunteer Coordinator will work with you to determine what works best for your specific gifts.
Q. How can I get started?
A. Contact our Volunteer Coordinator, Victoria Jones, at 214-841-2988 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
