Q. What is The Point and Pavilion?
A. The Point and Pavilion is a 20,000 square foot facility containing an Art Gallery, The Café, The Don R. Benton Meditation Chapel, The Kenneth Cooper Fitness Center Equipment Room and Classroom, The Rufus C. “Buddy” Porter Auditorium, The Loula Lee Porter Theater, a Library/Resource Room, and Classrooms.

Q. Where is The Point and Pavilion on the campus of C. C. Young?

Q: Is The Point and Pavilion is open to the general public?
A: The general public is encouraged to join us at The Point and Pavilion! The majority of the classes on art, education, wellness and fitness, and even events and programs offered each month are open to the general public. Depending on the class or event, some fees may apply.

Q: When is The Point and Pavilion open?
A: The Point and Pavilion is open daily from 6 a.m. until 8 p.m. unless otherwise posted. The Café’s hours are: M-F: 7 a.m. until 3 p.m. and Sat/Sun: 7 a.m. until 3 p.m. 

Q. What is a Point Membership?
A. Point Memberships are available to any non-resident in the general public who is age 55 or better. The price for a 12-month membership is $150 per person, plus tax. Some of the benefits of Point Membership include use of The Kenneth Cooper Fitness Center Equipment as well as discounts on wellness and fitness classes, art classes, and on-campus Massage Therapy Sessions.

Q. Can I rent space for a meeting or special event at The Point and Pavilion?
