Rev. Kellie Sanford is a United Methodist pastor and serves as CC Young Campus Pastor. She fell in love with the people and the culture at CC Young during her internship at First UMC Dallas and became part of the CC Young team, June, 2017.
Kellie is passionate about weaving weekly worship with the practice of spiritual discipline in daily life for the aging. Kellie’s led and directed ministry that spans all ages in the local church. She entered fulltime ministry late in life, but believes God called her to CC Young for such a time as this.
Kellie holds a Bachelor of Arts, Pastoral Studies, Southwestern College, and Master of Divinity, SMU Perkins School of Theology and lives in Flower Mound. She believes in the God of beauty and creativity who continually works in our lives, and does not abandon, but engages with us in deeply profound ways as we age. Kellie sees each person as a beloved child of God, all of which are given a creative identity that allows us to reflect on our Creator during our Spiritual journey with Christ to see and experience the beauty of God‘s handiwork in our lives. She believes self-reflection helps us to embrace the person we’re created to be freeing us from judgment and fear of expectation, allowing us to live into the abundant, joyful grace of God’s love and truth, all the days of our life.
