Joshua Fels, Senior Director of Dining Services for Morrison Community Living, has joined the CC Young community as the Interim Director of Dining Services. He comes to the community as an engaged leader with more than twenty years of culinary leadership experience. Joshua began his culinary career in the restaurant industry where he worked in all areas of the business both front of house and back of house. As a restaurant manager, Joshua successfully managed teams in national chain restaurants in Tucson, Phoenix, Denver, Mall of America, and Chicago. Some of the restaurants that he managed include Black Angus, Dave and Buster’s, Redfish, Rock Bottom, and Hooter’s. Joshua started his Healthcare path with Scottsdale Healthcare as the Retail Manger for the café services for the hospital system. Joshua moved to Banner Health as the Director of Culinary and Nutrition Services where he received national recognition for his leadership in healthcare foodservice.
Joshua is married to his wife of fifteen years, Inga Fels, and the two of them are proud parents of three amazing children, Izabella, Gabriel, and Ashton. In his spare time, Joshua enjoys cooking, boating, golfing, and spending quality time with his family.
Early in his college career, Joshua studied Music Education and Vocal Performance at the University of Arizona School of Music. He has since changed his collegiate goals and has completed his undergraduate education in Business Administration through Ottawa University and his Master’s Degree in Business Administration through Capella University.
