Dr. Don R. Benton Meditation Chapel
The point of The Point, Center for Arts and Education, is that it is never too late to learn to become creative and to learn to nurture your ageless spirit.
We offer many ways to nurture your spirit through weekly ecumenical worship services at The Point and more. For the full list, please click here for a Monthly Calendar of worship services.
In addition, we offer both C. C. Young residents and the public at large use of the Dr. Don R. Benton Meditation Chapel.
The Chapel is always open for seated and quiet meditation: 7 days a week from 6:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m.
The Chapel features beautiful stained glass windows designed by Jeff G. Smith, which provide a focal point for meditation. The glass design is based on the universal symbolism of enlightenment and acknowledges The Point’s Mind-Body-Spirit theme.
The powerful sculpture, by metal artist James "Jim" Cinquemani, rising outside in the courtyard stirs our awareness to look beyond limitations and is representative of the common beliefs of ALL spiritual practices.
We welcome everyone from all faiths to share this lovely space full of spirituality at The Point.
