Body, Mind & Spirit Challenge
Extending the Horizons for C. C. Young

WHAT IS THE BODY, MIND & SPIRIT CHALLENGE?
With more than 16% of Dallas area residents expected to populate senior care facilities and participate in programs and services in the coming years, C. C. Young has launched a $12,000,000 effort to extend its horizon with capital projects that are designed to propel this non-profit community into its next 90 years of service.

FUNDS GENERATED FROM THE BODY, MIND AND SPIRIT CHALLENGE WILL:

  • Allow for a continuation of the C. C. Young Vision to provide a community where every life and every age is valued and enriched, for both residents and non-residents alike.
  • Allow for C. C. Young to meet the raised expectations of sophisticated seniors who evaluate retirement and senior housing choices with a consideration toward active longevity.
  • Provide for state of the art senior fitness and rehabilitation programs at the new Center for Wellness & Renewal.
  • Provide for creative activity and educational enrichment through funding to the Endowment for Arts & Education, benefiting The Point, Center for Arts and Education at C. C. Young.
  • Provide for memory making family gatherings as well as personal spiritual awakenings in the Central Park and Gardens.
  • Provide improved dining experiences and dietary programs with a state of the art campus kitchen and renovated dining areas.
  • Provide for new levels in healthcare with advanced technology including a campus-wide fully integrated healthcare software solution package and an electronic medication dispenser for campus and home healthcare use.
  • Provide for swimming and aquatics fitness, one of the safest and most effective forms of physical exercise, at the Aquatics Center.
  • Promote stimulation of the visual senses for those who walk our campus with improved terracing and landscaping.
  • Ensure long term care and life enrichment programs through the C.C. Young Endowment, benefiting
    C. C. Young residents.
