Dr. Ken Cooper Fitness Center
A wonderful addition to The Point, Center for Arts and Education, is the Dr. Ken Cooper Fitness Center. The Cooper Institute donated the equipment to create the ultimate workout center for those 55 and better —no matter your limitations: 1,340 square feet with equipment and another 1,125 square feet for exercise classes.
The Dr. Ken Cooper Fitness Center at The Point allows you to take an active role in your physical health and mental well being. In fact, it can change your life. According to The National Institute on Aging “being physically active can help you continue to do the things you enjoy and stay independent as you age."
The Dr. Ken Cooper Fitness Center at The Point includes state-of-the-art physical fitness equipment (equipment is for exclusive use of C. C. Young residents and Point Members from 6:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m.).
