The Point, Center for Arts and Education

The Point, Center for Arts and Education, is unlike anything else in our region. The Point is not only a free-standing building which opened in 2007, but a true center which fulfills C. C. Young’s goal of a seamless society of all ages. We are dedicated to exploration of new ideas, learning, creativity, and caring. The Point is truly centered around body, mind and spirit for those 55 and better.

Bad Weather Policy: The Point will automatically cancel all scheduled classes, events, and programs only if the Dallas Independent School District (DISD) cancels classes that same day. Please watch your favorite local TV new program for a closure announcement from DISD during bad weather.

The Point is open from 6:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. for all C. C. Young residents and the general public. This includes all but The Café at The Point.
The Café at The Café at The Point is open Monday - Friday from 7:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. and
Saturday - Sunday from 7:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
