So much is happening at The Overlook, we get questions on just about every aspect of life in our magnificent new residence. Here are some of the inquiries we get most often:
1. What is The Overlook?
Our newest addition, The Overlook will offer spacious one- and two-bedroom apartments, many with spectacular views of White Rock Lake and the Dallas skyline. It will also have dining venues, gathering places, and a full complement of highly trained staff.
2. What steps do I need to take to become a Charter Resident at The Overlook?
A. Make your reservation within ten days of your visit: a
fully refundable Priority Deposit of one thousand dollars
($1,000). It secures your position to chose from the floor
plans and location within the building.
B. Apply for our Charter Member Offering, worth an average of $19,000 in value-added benefits. Fill out a Reservation Agreement and deposit ten percent (10%) of the Entrance Fee, less a credit for your Priority Deposit.
C. Be within the first 70% of units reserved.
When Overlook subscriptions reach 70%, our staff will contact you to set up an appointment to make interior selections, upgrades or choose other features you wish to include.
D. Move in within 60 days of availability. Our Move-In Coordinator will contact you to plan your move - and guide you every step of the way, for the smoothest possible relocation. You’ll get a date for your closing
appointment.
3. What fees do Residents pay?
At The Overlook, there’s a one-time Entrance Fee that’s 90% refundable to you or your estate, no matter how long you live here. You also pay a monthly fee for Services & Programs. These fees vary, depending on the number of residents and the floor plan you choose.
Within The Overlook, residents will enjoy even more amenities:
- A handsome dining room for midday and evening meals
- A casual Club Room for meals and gatherings
- A Family Room for private events or smaller groups
4. May I furnish and decorate my Overlook apartment?
Yes, absolutely, to your unique taste. Our staff will work with you to make the many selections desired to personalize your new home.
5. What options, upgrades and special features can I choose?
Ask about the expanding panorama of design options now under development by our team of architects, consultants and contractors.
You’ll be able to upgrade appliances, add custom trim such as crown molding, choose wood flooring over carpeting and make many other choices to make your home your own.
